We do not use machine or language translation software for the project. All translations are accomplished through experienced native language translators.
After the media for subtitling is reviewed, a proficient native Portugese subtitle translator is designated to the project to create a time-coded transcript. All our bilingual translators are highly experienced understanding idiomatic speech, slang, different Portugese dialects, and subtle differences in connotation flow to ensure the accuracy of the subtitles.
Transcripts Put Through 3-Step QC
All transcripts are put through a 3-Step QC. They are proof-read by an editor, and any inconsistencies found are corrected. An audit of the transcript is done to make sure that translation/transcription guidelines have been maintained.
After the time coded transcript meets the quality guidelines, it is segmented into chucks or caption frames which are embedded into the media to accurately sync with the audio of the film/video. The final QC certifies the subtitles display in perfect sync with the audio. We offer subtitling services in 20 different languages, and 13+ captioning formats.

- It takes close to 72-Hours to complete the translation/captioning process – (24 hours for transcription + translation, second 24 hours for editing + QC, third 24 hours is for auditing and subtitle formatting.
